Whose Agenda Shall It Be?

Join Texas OGAP

I'm almost afraid to add this Texas OGAP widget to my blog. It may bring the worst out in one of my supposedly progressive friends. He's all up in arms that I'm trying to force government to force my agenda on people. And yet, in one of his blogs he readily admits that us Americans are so stupid that the only way we're going to fix anything is if the government yells FIRE!

He confuses me so much. Just the other day, he basically admitted that he was forced into marrying this German girl because the Republicans made it difficult to live with someone and...well, it gets all befuddled and confused and quite honestly I can't keep up. I'll admit, I'm not the brightest crayon in the box, I mean...I am a blonde.

What I'm really concerned with is this Pickens' Plan. It demands that the government fleet of vehicles be converted to Natural Gas while providing government welfare to support this endeavor. Doesn't seem quite fair to me, and where's my friend being all up in arms over this forced agenda? He hasn't said a word. Hmmm...beginning to wonder if this progressive friend of mine owns some natural gas stock.

It shocks me that our government continues to force our citizens to marry German girls. When I got my summons I just said no and nothing more was done. It is 3 years later and I am still German free. No one should be forced to marry a German against their will. That's un-American.

I'm trying to figure out if any of my failed marriages fall into the "Forced German Loophole" so, that I may use the same excuse. I'd much rather blame the government than take responsibility for my own actions.

haha. I love you J'girl. I don't like anyone forcing my hand. If someone forces me to exercise, it's not necessarily a bad thing, but I don't like that someone forced me to do it.

Marrying my German woman was not a bad thing, but I don't like that the government forced me to do it. That's not right.

I'm sorry I'm confusing, but I love that you continue to listen. You were one of the few in my small high school that did so.

One of my greatest accomplishments in the last two years was getting to know you again.

Durango just irritates me, but I love him too :-b

Sometimes a bit of prodding in the right direction is a good thing, whether we take our cues from a friend, a boss, a book, an article or the gov't...we all need a bit of TLC now and again.

Why darlin'...I didn't realize that you'd forgotten me.

Why would Gar the Texan say I irritate him? That is very perplexing to me. Do you have any insights? That's nice that getting to know you is one of his best accomplishments of the past 10 years.

Maybe it's because you exercise and he doesn't? Oh, I was because you looked so darned handsome in that Roy Orb Tee I sent ya. Or maybe, it's because you keep mentioning his unmentionable vapors?

I was quite flattered by that comment. :-)

I wrote 2 years. Sometimes I don't know what to make of you folks.

Durango's extreme ability to exaggerate and paraphrase (like going from 2 to 10 years).

Yep, that's irritating.

But after letting slip Durango's propensity towards cross dressing, red leather and snakes... I'll cut him a little slack.

Geez Gar---For being the #1 student in your class of 1,100 you sure can be one dense chunk of lead sometimes. I was cleverly changing your 2 number into binary form. I assume you being the highly IQed individual that you are would have instantly understood. I am very disappointed that you did not. And instead chose to disparage me by suggesting I have an extreme ability to exaggerate and paraphrase. That was just rudely harsh and uncalled for.

And why do you speak of cross dressing, red leather and snakes as if there is something wrong with it?

Very confusing.

Binary form? Is that those 1's and 0's? I was only the Salutatorian, but I'm thinking I could have gotten that one...well, maybe.
